Cell PhoneMy phone is a Blackberry Curve, and I love all of the business functions it offers.  The buttons are large enough for texting and emailing, and I do a lot of both when I’m on the go.   However, I don’t take advantage of many of the functions and options because I haven’t taken the time to attend a class or read the manual.   However, I recently learned a new trick which is invaluable for time management.

I keep my schedule in my phone, which is convenient for making appointments despite my location.  However, I was worried what would happen if my phone became disabled or lost.   I also needed a way to efficiently communicate my schedule with my assistant, who is responsible for confirming all client appointments the day before a session.

It’s Google to the rescue!  Google Calendar for Mobile is a must have tool for the busy health practitioner on the go.  It couldn’t be easier to use.   Go to Google calendar and follow the simple instructions.  My assistant can now access my updated schedule by logging into my Google account, which will save both of us a lot of time and hassle.

Stay tuned for a couple more cool tricks you can utilize with your Blackberry.  By the way, if you are looking for a Blackberry, I got mine for only $60 through a private rep.  If you are looking to upgrade your phone or want to shop phone service rates, send me an email and I will forward your information.
